Im looking to use Aadvantage Miles to fly 1 x pax J HKG - HKT on KA around Thurs 10 October 2013. I've checked availability on Asia Miles and noticed that on that week, there is only availability on Monday and Tuesday and the following Sunday and Monday (Im looking to fly around Thursday). It's still around 10 months out, is there likely to be any more seats released or is what I can see now as good as it's going to get? Book now, or wait?

There is availability every day of that week HKG - BKK on CX which I understand is 777 with the new J whereas the KA to HKT is A321 with no IFE (3.5 hour flight). It's going to be a pain and $$ to fly to BKK and then buy a rev ticket BKK-HKT but will it be worth it given I understand the new CX J to be a far superior product to the KA A321 J.

What would you do? Any help would be appreciated!
