- Yes, you will be also getting additional points when paying with Hilton Amex Surpass. Sometimes around mid January we should expect a new promotion from Hilton. If you register and your hotel is participating, you will getting additional points/miles for the stay depending on yet unknown promo.

I haven't stay at Hilton Clearwater. Some of Florida Hiltons are nothing special. My last stay in South Florida was in Miami Conrad which I enjoyed greatly. Fantastic upgrade and excellent breakfast for Diamonds.
