Thanks. We just called back and got a rep who knew what they were doing and looked up and saw that the mileage requirements didn't change. We did have to pay an additional $0.30 per person, but at least we got in the premium cabin like we originally paid for via miles.

I've never had them charge me for a minor tax increase.
The agent can waive it if is that small, but you got a very informed response the second time around which was very good advise from WCUA. Congrats on getting what you are entitled to!
