Odd - just noticed that the T&Cs for the Amex card only specifically state the $20k for Gold, the $40k for Diamond only shows up on Amex's own website. Hilton's website says nothing about it either, though it says it loud and clear for the Citi card. Wonder if we're about to see the Hilton Amex discontinued and/or this benefit pulled and given to the Citi card only? Hopefully they move AXON along with it if that happens.

Separately, believe the strategy here is to spend $40k in Jan/Feb (possible for me by saving up cash and making a year's payments in a month) to get Diamond until Dec 2014 and use the spending on other cards...
