So you're that guy that I have to ask to move his laptop bag and coat when I'm the last to board in F. That's fun.

The flawed revenue model for baggage that causes all the Y pax bring a carryon, along with the lack of policing of carryon size by the GAs, is causing the baggage circus in Y (slow boarding, slow deplaning, delays due to gate checking bags, etc.), so I'm not sure why the badgering by the FA is viewed as a problem. I want to get the plane off the ground instead of 10 minutes of gate checking when the door should be shut.
