- it looks like you are new to HHonors Diamond - perhaps, you got your status from AmEx spend. Then I suggest reviewing HHonors website and especially Diamond benefits.
As for the the points (http://hhonors3.hilton.com/en/earn-u...ing/index.html), you will be getting 10 base points + 5 point Diamond bonus + 5 "choice" point (if you set your earning style to "points and points". Also, in Hilton hotels you will be getting 1,000 bonus points per stay as a Diamond. This would be in addition to your points from using your Amex at Hilton hotels.
If you book through Travelocity, you are generally not entitled to any of the HHonors' Diamond benefits including points. Also, your AmexEx will be charged by Travelocity but not Hilton hotels.
As was already noted here, HHonors has best rate guarantee. If you do not want to bother with this yourselves, just call HHonors Diamond services and ask them to book this hotel for you. If the price is higher than Travelocity, tell them about this. Sometimes they will help filing the best rate guarantee for you.
