I'm more of a wanderer than some, so a long stretch in Bora Bora or similar doesn't have a lot of appeal. Were it me, I would look to book open jaw award flight and find 2 4-day AXONS with my points and hit 2 places. Something like:

1. LAX-LHR/Trafalgar or Park Lane for 4 nights
2. Train or Low cost carrier flight to second stop. Alternatives like:
Venice/Hilton Molino Stucky
Prague/ Either Hilton there
Rome/Cavalieri
3. Return to LAX on the return leg of your award flight

Wouldn't be as stress free/relaxing as a week at an exotic beach, but with some research it might be a good/cheap adventure.
