Yes if you are used to collecting from other ways and know lots of the secrets and fly a lot etc etc

No if you are noob like me and the only frame of reference is the BA site where 1,000 Avios costs you £31.
This way you'll have 1,071 Avios for £21, a saving of £10...... or 1,530 Avios for £30 with £1 change

BTW, I will be buying on because my Aunt loves Cliff Richard and it means a birthday present sorted
