I will traveling to the Hilton, Clearwater Beach, FL hotel January 27th thru Feburary 1st. If I book on Hilton.com the total rate including Resort Fee is $1294.64 ($203.00 per night). Travelocity city has the same room for $191 per night for a total of $1078.55 plus a $100 Resort Fee for a grand total of $1178.55. Is it smarter of me to book thru the Hilton site to get the additional points or book on Travelocity with my Hilton Amex?

The hotel has told me that if I book on Travelocity and call them and give them my HH# then will do their best to upgrade me if possible as I am a Diamond
