I don't recall tipping more than about a $1. And was in and out of airports about a dozen times I suppose altogether. So that certainly doesn't break the bank. If you can afford to go all that way...

Personally I didn't like Mandalay much. And there's no way anyone should go to Burma and not see Shwedagon. For me that and Bagan were the biggest highlights. And surprisingly Inle Lake which I liked way more than I expected to. Mrauk U was quite interesting as well, but with all the trouble in Rakhine these days I suppose it is probably not possible to go there or at the very least much more difficult.

But some one going for business reasons is most likely to be spending time in Yangon I would imagine.
