BTW, I did Yangon, Bagan and Mandalay. THAI into RGN, bus to Bagan, bus to Mandalay, AirAsia to DMK.

I did not care for Yangon at all. The Schwedagon Pagoda was the big thing to see, otherwise there were not many restaurants/bars for relaxing in.

My personal advice, take the AirAsia flight from Bangkok to Mandalay. The airport is way out of town, but Mandalay was more enjoyable than Yangon by far. Also Bagan is closer to Mandalay, and I loved Bagan.
