Hmm. Any reason why I should use Visahq.com instead of the ILS site that the Russian consulate has used to outsource its visa processing?
Also, I am concerned about mailing my passport, lest it get lost, especially since I cannot apply for a visa until about 2 months before my travel date. Should my passport get lost (or delayed for whatever reason) I won't have enough time to apply for another one (unless I spend all day trying to get an expedited one at great cost). I'd rather go in person, and come home with my passport in my hands.
