Slightly OT, but there are several ways to go from HIJ to YVR, which have nice connections and don't involve airport hopping:

HIJ-ICN-YVR
HIJ-NRT-YVR
HIJ-PVG-YVR
HIJ-TPE-YVR

HIJ-NRT standalone is only 7.5k UA miles IIRC.
