If the room would not allow more than 2 persons (since it was very small like in Ibis or Ibis Styles); they would inform you that you couldn't book that type of the room.
After you got the information that you could book that type of the room and the extra bed charge; you could book on the prepaid rate (cheaper but non-cancelable). While your extra bed charge would be payable at the hotel and you could use the Le Club voucher to pay the extra bed.
