The suites are overbooked, apparently, a combination of "system and human error". The lady apologised and has offered a Club Deluxe King with complimentary mini-bar and the choice between a spa treatment and one lunch or dinner.
Disappointing but not the end of the world. The suite upgrade certificate will be returned to my account. I'll be travelling solo and the Club Deluxe King still looks quite nice.
Dinner at Vox restaurant could be quite a nice benefit. Spa treatment could also be of value, especially if you can choose any treatment on menu.
