Just had another fantastic stay at the PH. Confirmed suite upgrade with GP points to an utterly fabulous suite with a glorious Bund view, on the 84th floor. I don't consider Pudong the "wrong side" of the river, in fact, I prefer it. Closer to the airport and most of what I need for business, plus many fantastic restaurants and bars.

Concierge coordinated airport butler VIP service, transfer to the hotel, in room check in among other special requests. I find the pre-arrival concierge service at this property to be stellar.

On the flip side, the service at the bars and restaurant continues to be below PH standards IMHO, but it doesn't change the fact that this is the only place I will stay in Shanghai.
