I'm trying to get home to SNA from AUS and all flights are sold out. It was an opportunity to pull out my trusty RR 1.0 cert and build a custom trip. I started by checking for late arrival availability from all non-stop locations to SNA. I found WN1755 from LAS a couple from PHX. Now I just needed to get to one of those from AUS. Nothing to PHX, but WN1755 to LAS was open. WTH? I never looked for availability AUS-SNA because it showed completely sold out for cash or point sales but sure enough it was available using an RR 1.0 cert, no custom work necessary.

This goes against everything I had believed prior regarding capacity control of RR 1.0.
