Very easy. The process itself is just like redeeming on BA. It's the same search function/interface, and you get a choice of searching on partners. It even tells you which partners fly your selected route before going through the process.
You can also combine more than one airline. There are different rules and restrictions based on the number and nature, but the process itself is the same and couldn't be easier.
