1. FA's don't have the authority and it's not part of their job to muck around with UG's, so it doesn't matter if they have the UG list onboard.

2. The Captain of an aircraft on an active runway isn't going to radio through operations to a GA to determine UG's. Both the Captain and the GA have other issues to worry about when an aircraft is arriving (or returning to the gate).

3. The FA gave OP the option to go up to the GA (and I can't imagine he wouldn't have been allowed to reboard) and ask. OP chose not to.

So, there's no complaint and no compensation and no reason for either.
