Yes there are plenty of ATMs in the terminal. You can make a small purchase at the airport to break your 1000 baht note.

The Sukhothai will charge you a lot (way too much) for their limo. A better middle ground if you don't want to deal with a taxi is to just arrange a car service instead. For 900-1000 baht they will get you there no problems. They will meet you on the arrivals level at the designated meeting point. I think it is by door 4 or 5.

But a taxi is your best bet.
