IMHO - Anything less than 100k miles / 100 seg is does not deserve any special treatment at the airport. Those of us who fly every week are commuting and should be able to expect UA to move us though the process as fast and as predictably as possible [1]. Everyone else is traveling and should live the experience.
[1] - they occasionally do fine on the former and always fail on the later.
Some of us are commuting domestically and still don't hit 100k. Just that you commute to Asia and I commute to CA doesn't make my experience any less
Painful.
In fact, I'd argue that domestic road warriors have it worse - nobody's stuffing you in an ERJ-145 to Singapore ...
