Congrats AC, you have successfully turned away a loyal customers (200k BIS miles this year and probably 40k in revenue, plus all the staff i influence at in ticket choice at our company).

well this is just it, individuals are not gonna pony up $1000 extra for T+, and there are a lot of companies that still will. In the end AC is selling what used to be T+ and T prices, so they win there with the leisure traveller, and companies still pay T+, so they also win there with the business flyer. Very good strategy - in the end, they will find enough suckers/companies that will pay up with a hope of an upgrade.
