For bookings with connecting flights (all on BA metal and with a connection of less than 24 hours at LHR) can you:

- choose seats for the connecting flight at check-in (giving yourself a greater advantage over non-card holders for the connecting flight)
- if in F, choose seats for the connecting flight at T-72 of the first outbound flight (giving yourself a greater advantage of non-Gold holders for 1A/K for the connecting flight)

I'm pretty sure about the answer to the first question (which should be possible), but definitely unsure about the second question.
