the 702n was very simple to use. It came configured as an AP out of the box - plugged it in to my home network, connected to its network and I was straight onto the home network.
I ahven't used the ASUS yet, just went through its manuals and specs.

No, if it can do it then I could not find a way to configure it - wish I had seen the MR3020 first, that looks perfect - and available locally for only $35 (plus you can do a 3G modem)
Looking in the manuals, the MR3020 specifically gives the WISP use case, the 702n doesn't (you could do it with 2 702n's connected via the ethernet cable though)
