GCs should be treated as cash. Many have reported getting credit for stays using GCs. The tough part is finding a FDC that knows how to properly process GCs. DO NOT expect to use them and rush out in the morning. Either take them down the night before or allow plenty of time for processing.
Also, keep your folio until the points post and you got all you are suppose to get. Sometimes properties mess up, GCs or not.
