New York 4 star - $103 Priceline bid - 12/23 - 12/25 data point

For those who are planning to travel to NY next weekend and for Christmas, see if this info helps you.

We are going to arrive either by bus/train to the Penn station. So, wanted something around that area.
Selected
Central Park south,
Midtown West,
Times Square,
Hells Kitchen,
Madisson Square garden,
Mid town east,
Queensborough Bridge

Started my bid at $85 with 4 stars selected, then mid-way when I added may be 2 or 3 areas, changed it to 93 and 3.5 stars.

Finally ended up bidding $103 for 3.5 stars.

Wasn't offered a counter price anytime, so in retrospect must have probably stuck to below $95.

We got The Benjamin - 4 stars - for $103/day for 2 days. Including taxes it came out to be $260.
