Excellent report as usual, Carfield. F9 can be a nice choice if you don't have status, are interested in inexpensive "upgrades" to extra legroom and the price is right. It is certainly better than most other domestic coach seating. We flew them a few times earlier in the year between SFO and DEN and they were fine.
Unfortunately, FFers will find their website and telephone support abysmal. You can't change seat selection online and you have to call in. It takes 10 minutes to change seats (assuming they get it right the first time) and 20 minutes to process a refund on a refundable ticket.
