The thread title is grossly misleading; BA has not acquired any "rights" as FR has no rights to sell. It would be more transparent to state "BA partners with FR in EI carve up bid". Not only does that have the benefit of accuracy but it makes it clear just how superficially unlikely (though commercially attractive) this arrangement would be. FR and BA getting into bed together, how many grandees are rolling in their graves.......
