i don't think that's where we differ at all....i think it would be a complete waste of time for a spg rep to review each persons account every time they got a call....no doubt there....
but when a particular question is asked over email then the rep should not reply with a canned answer without going through the details of the account....every spg rep i have ever come across has reviewed my account before giving an answer & that is one of the better things i like about spg....i don't think that would take long & it would be the proper thing to do....

Call back after 6 weeks and too late to do anything to change anything and bingo seems I didnt complete everything as I was suppose to. I didnt call up and tell them I wont purchase their product any more, I made a note to myself to make sure I read all the T&Cs and that I in fact fulfilled all of them
rather than receiving an automated response, wouldn't it have been better if the agent reviewed your account & told you you had not met a certain criteria that you still had a chance to rectify & be eligible for the promo or rebate????i certainly think it would be better....

its true, we will have to agree to disagree here....spg obviously feel that they kind of dropped the ball on this one, otherwise they would not have offered the op a goodwill gesture of gold status....
