We tend to walk faster than average, so 30 minutes would allow any gate to any gate within all of DFW for us.

Cheers.
The only reason we ever take the skylink is if we are under 30 min and our gate is in another terminal. Sometimes we even do it then. Moderate walkers all carry on we do a leisure mile in 20 minutes. Caveats- don't try it in heels, the walkways usually are working if it is close and good people watching is available. 1 mile = 100 cal . About 60 DFW connections this year. I am sure there are people with more.
