I think it's more about how you "manage" your cold. Do you carry and use lots of tissues, do you take the appropriate medication berofe and during the flight? Do you use hand sanitizer etc? Recently on a flight a woman sneezed around her for 13 hours and didn' t even try to use tissues, that was really disgusting. So it's all about manners , once again.
