My wife recently applied for SW Rapid Rewards card and got instant approval. A few days later she applied for a SW RR Business card and we just received notice that she was turned down. The ironic part is that she does have a legitimate business.They said "too many applications or open accounts with us(Chase)" All we have are a Chase Sapphire and Chase Ink Bold.
The letter gave us a number to call for reconsideration but I'm not sure what to say to them. We'd really like to get a companion pass next year since our daughter just got married and moved to NY. We plan on flying SW from Seattle to NY a lot and the companion pass would be helpful.
Any suggestions on what to say in the reconsideration call?
