The bus is usually mostly empty and quite comfortable. A Taxi won't save any time (unless you need to wait for the bus a while).
Obviously, it's your choice, but personally, I'd take the bus.

Also note, as usual taxis will quote you the "most likely" price (or "best case" as the rest of the world calls it) but the reality will be on the meter and could be considerably more, depending on time of day.
