Hertz's CEO has already said that Thrifty is going to compete with the likes of Payless, Fox and Advantage. Dollar will be competing with Alamo, Budget, Enterprise. Hertz with Avis and National. 3 tiers. You won't be seeing Dollar as cheap as Thrifty much longer. Thrifty will be the lowest price of the 3. Thrifty and Dollar have been competing with each other, even though they've been co-owned, and that isn't part of the plan under Hertz.
