I'm having a little trouble finding the German site (I'm in the U.S)

The company's focus is backpacks for trekking but they also have nice options for travel. I traveled all over Southeast Asia with only a backpack because I was on trains, buses, and planes the whole time. Unlike you, I did not have a base, so this might not be the best option. My girlfriend has one of their packs (for hiking) and really enjoys it.

Anyways, just wanted to provide another idea and company that is based in Germany.
