For 2012 I have had my bags "temporarily misplaced” three times including once in Europe with the family. I can’t tell you how excited were to buy new clothes! I have to thank AC & my Credit Card Company for all of our new clothes.
As I lose weight and get into shape I will need updating so I look forward to a wardrobe update in 2013 so I rely on AC to step up to the plate and provide
Haha - yeah, it happened to me this year with UA in YVR-IAH-ATL connection and it worked out quite well. Bag was delayed 36 hours and delivered to my hotel safe and sound. In the meantime, I bought a new fossil purse, gap jeans, tshirts and jacket, new shoes, new shorts, new undergarments and socks. Total price tag: ~$400. Claimed with UA and they sent me a cheque 3 weeks later for the whole amount. Sometimes it works out well! I just have to remember to pack cheap clothes!!! There were some favorites in that bag, so I am soooo glad it was located and delivered to me!!!
