That's an added bonus, customers enjoy and gives good PR for BA, but the main purpose of proofing flights is for the guys and girls who will eventually operate to wherever on longhaul to familiarize themselves with everything on board.
I did get that point, which is why I didn't suggest they trial it to SYD.
Still, you want a decent amount of on board time, domestics really are too short.
