Really? Last year Mrs. DCA-SEA and I did a SEA-DFW-[SEA]-LIH-SEA, no problem. But just the other day I was told we could not do a SEA-MCI-[SEA]-LAX-SEA, even though AS does publish a fare MCI-LAX connecting via SEA on all AS metal. The web site rejected it also.

I ended up burning a second companion cert yesterday to book SEA-LAX, BUR-SEA for the Rose Bowl (Go Stanford!), but would have preferred to just change our existing SEA-MCI-SEA r/t for Christmas.

Can anyone conclusively address this?
