i dont think anyone is in a rush from HOME to the airport to take advantage of the amenities of the lounge. it is great for other situations like this:

1. long CONNECTIONS
2. having a shower / getting sorted before getting "into" a city. (worse: for work)
3. non-familiar airport... not sure about traffic or how much it takes to get through immigration or security.... get to airport early and have a snack and drink
4. when away on trip, sitting at the hotel isnt all that great either. its mental comfort to be at the airport and 1 step closer to home
