Hi folks - I have one of these certificates that will expire Dec. 31 of this year (2012). I was thinking of using it at the DT Times Square on New Year's Eve for that one night. Standard room rates are $3,609 and with taxes it comes out to $4,147. Do you think the property will allow me to use the certificate for this stay? Also, the reservation requires a credit card hold and I certainly don't want to risk having this amount permanently charged to my account if the cert isn't valid. What do you all think?
As long as a standard room is available, it's yours. You book through HHonors reservation number and not with the hotel directly. If a standard is still available, you better grab it fast. ^
