Cards don't print very well, silver on Gold is very hard to read.

When I used to buy the 30 day memberships I didn't bother printing out the cards. They mark SKYCLUB on your BP and when you scan it at check in the system confirms that you are in fact a SC member. The only time I have needed to dig out my 30 Day pass card, or my actual SC card is getting access to the Oasis lounge at JFK or partner lounges.
