I do not stay at Best Western's, but my opinion is that the e-mails are "pre-made" weeks before they are sent out. Anytime I receive a Marriott e-mail it always has my points and stays off by atleast a few weeks. Even though my account is up to date, the e-mails themselves are always a few weeks off.
