The bottom of my Skymiles Amex Plat card statement says my YTD spend "on my account" is $24,625.00 and I get 10K MQMs when I reach $25K in eligible purchases by Dec 31st.

So the question is, does that $24,625 figure represent my eligible purchases or are there things in there that are not eligible such as fees. Seem like putting the figure on the statement so one would say, "OK if I spend another $375 I'm golden" and it not being the case would be super misleading.

Any experiences would be appreciated.
