5 hour rail trip: "Open Saloon with Table" or a "Compartment"

If you were taking a 5 hour first class trip between Prague and Berlin, which you book an "Open Saloon with Table" or a "Compartment"? (and why?)

There are some photos linked below, and I'll likely take the EC 174 Jan Jesenius, though I can't tell how that train number relates to the codes on this otherwise very informative website of trains and pics:

It looks like the compartment seats facing each other can be extended as one so the legs could go up, but maybe that feature is not on all railways.
