Auf dem Tisch an der Kontrollstelle liegt eine Liste. Nach zehn Stunden sind darauf knapp 30 Kontrollen vermerkt. 30 uses over a 10 hour period; every second person who was selected for a secondary (ie a total of 60 people over a 10 hour period were selected for secondary) chose to go through the scanner. And of those 30 the vast majority were Americans, who are familiar with the scanner at US airports.

I've had to listen to Americans complaining for years about the 'bad' security in European airports because we don't remove shoes and don't have scanners. Well, now they should be happy that on their flights if they do get selected for secondary they can use their scanners.
