The seat width is really too bad. I fly from Denver to Tokyo a lot and was looking forward to the non-stop.

Most 777s are 9 across in coach but some airlines (e.g. Emirates) are 10 across. I flew from Dubai to China on one of these 10 across 777s and it was the worst flight I have ever been on. The person next to me had their arm in my lap the whole flight. This was the last Emirates flight I ever took.

Now that more and more business people are forced to fly coach internationally, people are going to look for the most comfortable coach cabins. It will be interesting to see if everyone starts avoiding the 787.
