If you like trendy, I have stayed at the ALOFT Foshan Nanhai.

I am NOT necessarily recommending this place though. It is located in the middle of nowhere beside a lake.

The actual hotel feels like a little poorer orphaned sister of a W hotel. When I was there, it had that trendy electronic pop music playing downstairs which was annoying but the rooms were nice enough. Small but nice enough.

Would I go there with my wife to relax and enjoy the scenery? No but if you are into nature during the day and techno at night, it is the place for you.
