I was upgraded - what about my wife?
I recently gained Premier Silver status (25000 miles) for this year, and I have an upcoming flight EWR-ORD. My wife and I are booked on the same itinerary, but I'm the only one with status. I just got an email from United saying that I have been upgraded for this flight which is really awesome. However, does this apply to the both tickets or just me? I don't want to leave my wife behind in coach. If it doesn't apply to my wife - what is the best strategy to convince United that they shouldn't split us up?
