FF17 changes a lot of small things, like details in the UA string. A lot of sites depends on this (which they really *SHOULDN'T*) and thus break. There are other changes as well, without looking closer at this specific problem, it's very hard to say what is causing the problem. But I do know a lot of stuff is still breaking with FF17 for various reasons.
