My million dollar idea - anyone feel free to steal it, I will smile if I see it someday - my car has soft close doors that secure themselves silently. Someone please design this idea around a hotel room door.

For the life of me I can't understand why hotels dont fix this. Almost every property I have stayed at has doors that noisily slam shut. How hard can it be to build a door that closes quietly.
The sole exception that I have been at is the W Hong Kong which has rubber coatings on some of the door hardware. It is better, but still not great. After decades of slamming doors in thousands of hotels, I am very surprised nobody has got this right yet.
